Caught In Conflict
Women and children suffer from war in ways that men don’t. Often, their suffering is quieter, but the effects are profound – and can alter entire societies.
Civilians caught in conflicts need to be protected in ways that are not usually necessary in functioning societies.
This exhibit features stories from Bangladesh, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Libya and Yemen.
